Biography
Michael has always had an interest in the law, dressing up as an attorney for Halloween in the third grade. His interest in debate, public speaking, and legal affairs blossomed in high school when he competed in the speech & debate program. Michael attended college at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he studied Theatre with an emphasis in acting and directing. He carried his Theatre training with him to law school at St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he won the David & Linda Schlueter 1L Moot Court Competition and was awarded Best Speaker by an en banc panel of the justices of the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals. He began working as a Law Clerk for Goldman & Peterson in the summer after his first year of law school. After being with the firm for the last two years of his law school tenure he was offered a position as an Associate.
Michael loves spending his free time with his two four-legged children Buddy, a Golden Retriever mix, and Cocoa Puff, a fluffy black Maine Coon. He is an avid sports fan and loves cheering for the San Antonio Spurs.
